Loose thoughts

values

Practice conscious empathy

I consider empathy like a muscle: it needs to be regularly exercised. I acknowledge I am human and have unconscious biases that I need to be mindful of.

Over communicate

More is more. I like to document tribal knowledge & processes. Lately, I've been making videos to explain my thought process. I notice it sparks more discussions. (Loom is my favorite tool for this.)

Assume good intent

For every conversation, I like to assume good intent from the person I'm chatting with. This helps make the conversation stay productive.

Be an owner

You'll never hear "that's not my job" uttered from my lips. I thrive in the messiness that is startup-life. I take on many hats until it's time to give away my legos (which I'm eager to do)!
